Eight of Wands ~ Life is Speeding Up! (Monday)

eight of rods
Anna K Tarot

Things are speeding up! Hold on to your hat because life is unfolding before your very eyes…at the speed of lightening!

The Eight of Wands Tarot card signifies that important letters/emails are being written and sent. Should you censor yourself? There’s no time to think!

You may get news of something good today, or just simply feel that things are beginning to really happen for you.

You have an increased ability to communicate to others in a direct, non-apologetic manner. No beating around the bush for you today!

  1. Kate–

Last night, the third card in my own draw was the Eight of Wands. I thought it would take longer to get here. But obviously not!

Plus, I really like the way the Anna K. interprets this card!

    Happy Monday,

    1. I have been getting this card in my own readings as well – kind of makes me nervous as I like things slow as molasses. Oh well! exciting times ahead 😉

      1. Kate–seriously and no kidding–got the 8 of Wands AGAIN as the “outcome-ish” card last night. Completely different deck!

Last three nights running, my cards have had a very contained Pentacle (4, pregnant Princess, and 2) followed by first the 7 of Wands, and then, twice in a row, the 8.

        Something’s moving slow–growing imperceptibly right now–but soon, WOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I still always equate the 8 of Wands, now, with the reading you did for me just before I hopped about the Portland Tarot project. When the 8 of Wands comes calling, pack your bags–if you have time!

Happy 8-ness to both of us!

        1. Wow! Well, if it keeps showing up you know you have to pay attention to it, right? I remember that reading, yes – the 8 really did manifest for you!

  2. Thank you. For me the eight of wand signifies the start of my new blog: getting posts out there on the web, not knowing where they will end up. It is fun, fast and exciting! 😀

    1. Congrats on your new blog, Ellen! I just checked it out – loved your post for today – I agree that free-writing about the cards we dislike can be even more powerful than getting a “good” card that you like. Feel free to post a link to your blog here as i think readers of my blog would love your blog too!

  3. Just when I thought I’d take time to enjoy the process!! I embrace all the good news coming in!! Thanks Kate, your messages are always giving me inspiration.
