The Eight of Swords is Kinky!

fridays with veronicaVeronica Noir, The Daily Tarot Girl’s evil counterpart, is here to kick some sense into you with her uncompassionate style of Tarot reading. She usually writes these half-drunk, so take her advice with a grain of salt…or a tablespoon!

Now here is the lady of the Eight of Swords looking like a character in one of those kinky romance novels I have been reading on my filthy little Kindle.

And just like those masochistic heroines, this dame actually enjoys her sense of limitation and blindness.

So I ask you this…

Are you getting off on your perceived handicaps?

Are you relishing the feel of powerlessness?

Do you secretly enjoy complaining to friends about stuff?

Well, snap out of it!

While your busy writhing around in miserable ecstasy waiting for a knight in shining armor to save you, your life is passing you by!

So untie yourself, lift the blindfold and….yes, I know! Then you will actually have to take responsibility for your life.

But seriously – break out of your silly little mind prison and run free on the grassy knoll of life!

  1. yes that’s such a good take on the 8. I can imagine saying that to someone and having them slice me in half with a furious look. Ha Ha lol good one, Veronica!

  2. …And don’t forget to grab a couple of the swords to save yourself while your at it. Sorry for the hijack.

  3. I love, LOVE your blog! 🙂 I have been reading here for about a week, but not posted a comment until now. Great advise from Veronica, and I look forward to every friday to see what stuff Veronica will come up with.

This card is so right for me now, and I’m going to be more true to myself and my dreams instead of waiting for that knight in shiny armour 😉 Thanks for this blog!

    1. Thank you Maria, that is really sweet of you! I also can’t wait to see what weirdness Veronica comes up with each week 😉

  4. I do love Veronica…….say it like it is. How true that all can be at times when we just want to blame something or someone else for how things are instead of taking care of things ourselves. Our minds can keep us such prisoners at times and all it can take sometimes is removing the blindfold and seeing things in a different light. Not always so easy at times but definitely can make life better. Great advice Veronica.
