New podcast: Science & Tarot

I’ll be honest….I kind of hate science. I was always told I was bad at it and those lab stools we had to sit on in high school were so uncomfy! Which is probably why I’ve gravitated to the most unscientific career possible – Tarot teacher! So this weeks discussion at the Menage A Tarot Podcast was a interesting one! I think you’re going to like it 🙂

  1. My thoughts on the Tarot book – Write two. Have a serious one and then a Veronica version, sell separately and as a combo set. 🙂

  2. I love your podcast! 🙂 I’m really not a fan of podcasts in general, I always lose focus after 5 minutes, but not with the Menage a Tarot! It’s just so interesting and you’re so funny all three of you.

    1. Thank you so much Ania 🙂 That’s so good to hear! I will pass on your compliments to my fellow podcasters.

  3. Hi kate ! Wow this was very interesting! I was thinking about your comment about reading for ourselves and pulling cards more than once and getting different cards – I looked at differently. My thought was that perhaps there were more cards in the deck for the question you asked and they came the 2nd time – so in theory a different spread the first time may have resulted in those same set of cards.

I’m not a science girl either and can’t wrap my head around many parts of it but I believe that tarot readers combine more than just pulling cards when they do a reading – even if they are not aware of it. Instinctively they are pulling cards and for me there are other abilities in play besides instinct. Personally I consider tarot spiritual and a reading a guide to a possible set of outcomes, feelings, conclusions to the situation or question asked.

    Loved this pod cast!

    1. Hi Michele,
Yeah, that makes sense – that the second reading was just giving more insight into the first reading and that it doesn’t discredit the first reading just because the cards are totally different. I like that!
Glad you enjoyed this podcast 🙂 Thank you for listening!!!
