Today’s oracle card message is Work Your Magic! and it comes from Saint-Germain. Focused intentions, a clear mind and connecting your heart with everything you do will serve you well today (and any day for that matter).

But I always snicker a bit when I pull this card. This rendition of Saint Germain reminds me of this guy I used to go to college with who would always pride himself on passing all his classes by putting in the least amount of effort possible. And he got high a lot.

I used to regard him disdainfully, but now I see that he was actually achieving all his goals – better yet, he was doing it his way. So I feel this card is telling us that having goals and a vision is great, but when you set out to achieve things in your own unique way, that is when the magic happens!

Oracle Card Reading for Tuesday ~ Let It Go (Quan Yin)

Today’s oracle card reading turned up the goddess Quan Yin whose message is “let it go.”  If you are feeling stuck, held back or just drained of energy, ask yourself if there is anything you need to let go of.

If you are holding onto any resentment or anger, now is a good time to let that go. When your energy and focus is all tied up in being irritated or upset about past events, you have less time and creativity to spend on creating a rewarding life.

So ask yourself what do you need to do, say or believe in order to let it go and move on? Can you imagine what it would be like to let go of all the old resentments and frustrations?

Letting go of what you tightly cling to today will free up your energy for tomorrow. Lightness of being and inner peace come from your ability to release past hurt and move forward on your path. Keep the flow going by being equally generous in your outpouring of kind words and favors. If you have been waiting for a day to splurge on something or take yourself out for a fancy lunch – today is the day!

The important message that this card brings is that prosperity is healthiest when there is an equal in-flow and out-flow. If you would like to be more abundant, don’t hoard your existing wealth and get comfortable with receiving help, whether it is emotional or financial help. The more you receive, the more you will be able to give at a later time.

The two main things that block us from being more prosperous is fear (which makes us want to hoard what we do have) and a lack of self love (which makes us feel unworthy of receiving financial and other types of abundance). When we finally let go of fear and embrace self-love, our world will be very different!

You will have many opportunities to give and receive prosperity today, as well as opportunities to practice letting go of fear and celebrating your self and how far you have come.

Daily Oracle Reading for Monday ~ Crystals

Today’s daily oracle reading turned up the “Crystals” card, represented by the Goddess Epona, protector of horses.

If you have crystals in your home, now is a good time to connect with them for healing purposes. Hold them, put them by your bed at night, meditate with them and really appreciate their beauty.

The message I got when I looked at this card was that crystals are very useful in helping us manifest what we desire, contacting our higher selves and facilitating powerful dreams. Many of us have crystals sitting around and we forget to work with them.

Try This! Listen to the wisdom of your crystal by holding it in your hand, closing your eyes and letting yourself slip into a relaxed state of mind. Ask your crystal if it has any messages for you right now and then wait…..did you see any images in your mind’s eye? Did any particular words or phrases come to mind? You will begin to see your crystals in a whole new light when you start doing this regularly!

Daily Tarot Reading for Wednesday ~ Meditate

Today’s daily tarot reading is all about meditation! Mid-week is the perfect time to center yourself and calm the mind and body. If your week got off to a fast-paced start, set aside a little time today to simply pay attention to your breath.

As you focus on your breath, you give your mind a rest from constantly churning out thoughts. Since your thoughts help create your reality, when you enter the state of no-thought or no-mind, its like you take a little pause on the wheel of life.

If you want to change anything – your life, a habit, an unhelpful pattern – start with meditation and start by clearing the mind. When you empty your mind you make room for real possibilities to emerge!

Try this simple breathing meditation called “belly-breathing”:

1) Place one hand on your abdomen and the other on your chest.

2) As you inhale, focus on bringing your breath down into your belly, so you feel the hand on your abdomen rise. The hand on your chest should not rise much at all.

3) Exhale, letting your belly deflate.

4) Practice doing this for a few minutes, just noticing how it feels to breathe this way.
