I’m in the mood for a party…..a Tarot party!

So this Friday (Aug 17th) at 12 noon (PST) I’m throwing a Tarot party via Facebook Live, over on my Facebook page.

Join me for some fun Tarot chit chat while we discuss hot new Tarot decks and fun Tarot exercises. I’ll be doing free one card Tarot readings for anyone who wants one, so you don’t want to miss it!

If you’ve never taken part in a Facebook Live event before, here’s how it works: at 12 noon PST on Friday, hop on over to my Facebook page – you’ll see me live on video blabbing away about Tarot. You’ll be able to interact with me via the comments so you can ask questions, etc.

If you can’t be there live, the video replay will stay on my page for at least a few days after, so you’ll be able to watch at your leisure.

Daily Oracle Card for Monday ~ Integrity

Today’s daily oracle card is Integrity, represented by the Australian Shepherd dog, reminding you of the importance of keeping your actions in line with your words and beliefs.

Living with integrity means that what you do, think and say are all very similar. You do what is important to you and and any observer can tell what is important to you based on your actions, deeds and creations.

If you don’t live with integrity, you will experience stress and inner conflict and it may be hard for you to really know what you want from life and what matters to you. In other words, you will feel lost on your path.

The strong message I get with this daily oracle card is that integrity means being true to yourself. Live according to your own rules and what you believe is right, not someonelses. This in itself isn’t always easy, but the more integrity you have, the more grounded and purposeful you will feel.

Just for fun, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Do my actions and creations express what is important to me?
  • Do I walk my talk? (Do I do what I say I will?)
  • Are my actions in line with my thoughts and feelings? Or do they sometimes differ?

Ten of Pentacles ~ Tarot Reading for Wednesday

Today’s daily tarot card is Ten of Pentacles (or Ten of Discs) from the Intuitive Tarot. The message I get from this card is this:  collaboration is great, but don’t sacrifice your individuality in order to be more acceptable to the group.

The Ten of Pentacles speaks of our strength in numbers and the power of connecting and collaborating with others. You may get the chance to be a vital aspect of a group this week.

While it is truly amazing what we can accomplish when we pool our resources and minds together, there is a downside to the Ten of Pentacles…

Sometimes we may feel that in order to be accepted by a group – whether its social or business related – we must dial ourselves down so we harmonize more easily with others. This can make our group interactions feel inauthentic and stressful. Be sure that the group you join values your individual, unique talents and doesn’t demand that you change yourself to fit in.

Daily Tarot Reading for Wednesday ~ Guidance (Three of Rainbows)

Osho Zen Tarot ~ Three of Rainbows (Guidance)

Today’s card is Three of Rainbows (Guidance) from the Osho Zen Tarot. Wherever we are and no matter what we are doing, we always have access to higher guidance. Whether it is our higher self, angels, spirit guides, god or goddess, we can tap into that guidance whenever we feel the need for support and wisdom.

This card has come up because you have been receiving guidance recently and at the time you may have wondered if it was your imagination. Perhaps you felt a calm, loving presence in the room or heard a voice or saw an image that held significance to you. These are all signs for you, letting you know that you can call on your guides/angels anytime.

Hands on healing such as Reiki, Healing Touch or other forms of healing come to mind with this card and I feel like the overall message is that when we engage in healing we have an easier time hearing guidance from the other realms.

Exercise: Try channeling healing energy on yourself by placing your hands on your belly, thighs or head. Close your eyes and breath deeply. Imagine that you are drawing white light down through the crown of your head into your body and out through your hands. Place your awareness in your hands and notice how they begin to heat up. Do this for a couple of minutes and then notice how you feel afterwards.

The Knight of Cups rides in to inspire you to listen to your soul’s yearnings and follow you dreams.

This Knight holds his desire and vision in high regard, despite what those around him might think. He lets his intuition, gut feelings and emotions guide him on his journey, while his intellect takes a back seat.

I feel like this card speaks most strongly to those who are creatively inclined – whether you are a visual artist, writer, actor, dancer, singer or musician.

The message is to keep going where your interests lead you and don’t forget to feed your creativity by doing things that inspire you to create. Visit an art gallery this week, go to a movie and write a review of it or dance like a crazy person to some new music – whatever gets your creative energies flowing!

Silence and peacefulness come when we give up trying to control everything and make things happen – even for just a moment.

This card invites you to let go of anything that is bothering you and trust that everything is unfolding exactly as it should. When you let go, even just a little bit, you allow your life to flow naturally and this is when magical things can happen!

When you let your mind become calm and clear, like the surface of a calm lake, you create a space in your life, almost like a pause, in which you can either turn your gaze inward or just enjoy being yourself and being alive.

Affirmation for today: Everything is unfolding exactly as it should

When you say this affirmation to yourself, really believe it and notice what happens to you. Do you physically relax? Do you feel lighter and more free?
